Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS)
MAPS is the undergraduate chapter to the Student National Medical Association (SNMA). This club is founded and sustained off the principle of being a resource to underrepresented premedical students and those who would like to serve underrepresented areas by providing knowledge, skills, and experience that are both prerequisite and concomitant to professional participation in healthcare fields. Our chapter is dedicated and aimed to assist students on their journey of entering medical and health professional fields. The club hosts workshops, programs, community service opportunities and lectures to help expose students and enable them to become competitive candidates for health professional programs. Additionally, students receive direct mentorship from our SNMA counterparts at Cooper Medical School and Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine.
