American Chemical Society Student Chapter
The objective of this chapter shall be to afford an opportunity for students of a chemistry and biochemistry to become better acquainted, secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, foster a professional spirit among the members, to instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist.
The chapter holds bi-weekly meetings, attends monthly American Chemical Society dinners at various locations to hear industry updates, and meets to discuss job opportunities and career decisions. The group's Bi-Annual Service Project is cleaning a section of Main St. in Glassboro. Bowling trips are also planned for the organization.

National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE)
The purpose of the Rowan University Student Chapter of NOBCChE is to increase the participation of people of color in the STEM field, and related disciplines through diverse programming and other opportunities designed to foster scholarship, encourage research innovation, facilitate collaboration, and provide resources for career and professional development. The Chapter is committed to the professional and educational growth of underrepresented minorities in the chemical sciences and related fields. This chapter also intends to impact the national view of scientists by working within the local community. This chapter welcomes a diverse group of members that are interested in carrying forth the chapter’s mission.
