Teaching Fellowship

Teaching Fellowships in the Master of Science with Thesis

A Teaching Fellowship program is available to students accepted into the MS in CS program and pursuing the Thesis track. The fellowship provides students with the $1,000/semester tuition model and a 10-months stipend.

Tuition Model: All traditional (not accelerated) MS in CS with thesis students (including international students) who are selected for a Teaching Fellowship will be charged $1,000/semester X 4 semesters = $4,000 total tuition plus $154.65/credit in fees (5th semester and beyond are at the typical Rowan Global rate)

Student Status: All students under this model must be registered full-time for four consecutive semesters (not including summer). Failure to maintain this status will result in loss of $1,000/semester tuition model and teaching fellowship.

Stipend: Teaching Fellowship stipend is $18,000 currently paid biweekly as one 10 month Academic Year contract.

Responsibilities:  In addition to the requirements to maintain 3.0 GPA, doing Thesis work, and adhering to the Minimum Satisfactory Progress for the MS in CS programs, selected Teaching Fellows are required to teach 8 credits of course per academic year.
