Application Information
The Department of Psychology welcomes applications for our full-time, scientist-practitioner, clinical psychology doctoral program.
Applications are due by January 1st.
Application Criteria
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 overall and 3.0 in Psychology coursework.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or closely related field.
- 18 credits of undergraduate psychology courses, including at least one 3+ credit course in each of the following: Intro to Psychology, Research Methodology, Statistics, and Abnormal Psychology.
- GRE General Test scores.
- GRE Psychology Test scores (required if not a psychology major. Preferred if without or only a minor in Psychology).
- For applicants who wish to transfer credits to our program, you must have a minimum 3.3 GPA. Upon approval, we accept a maximum of 27 credits from related graduate programs.
- Current professional resume/CV
- Personal statement, including research interests and desired faculty mentor(s), professional goals and aspirations.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Personal interview.
- $65 application fee.
