The College of Science & Mathematics (CSM) invites all students, faculty, staff, friends, and family to join us for Student Research Day. We hope you'll join us to learn more about the amazing research happening across CSM.
Date: Thursday, April 20, 2023
Location: Chamberlain Student Center, Eynon Ballroom
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Three poster sessions:
- 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Note: ONLY ONE FORM NEEDED PER POSTER (i.e. one student should submit this form on behalf of the entire group).
Your poster will be assigned a specific session time, where you will display your poster for an hour and a half. Presenters/authors will engage in meaningful discussions about their research topics and answer questions posed by the antendees who will be circulating the room. While you will only present at one session, we encourage you to attend the other sessions as well to learn about the research areas of your peers. We also welcome you to invite friends and family to the event. This event is open to all!

What size should my poster be?
Poster size should be 36-inches wide by 48-inches tall. Please download and use the poster template available HERE.
What should I include on my poster?
Your poster should be a visual representation of your research through text, charts, graphs, and other visual aids. Be prepared to answer questions and to discuss your research and how it is displayed on your poster.
How should my poster title be formatted?
Poster titles should be formatted in APA style sentence case:
- Capitalize the first word of the title/heading and of any subtitle/subheading
- Capitalize any proper nouns
- Use lowercase for everything else
Example poster title format: Employing optimization for wastewater testing during COVID-19
I am not presenting. Can I still attend?
Absolutely! This event is open to all. We encourage faculty, staff, students, families, and friends to attend this event to learn more about the amazing research happening across the College of Science & Mathematics. Thank you for supporting our student researchers!
