Applied Mathematics
The Applied Mathematics minor consists of 21 semester hours and increases the mathematics major's ability to apply various fields of mathematics in the formulation, analysis and evaluation of problems in the physical, biological and social sciences.
Mathematics
The Mathematics minor encourages and facilitates the acquisition of mathematical skills and concepts. It thus provides an added dimension to a student's program.
Statistics and Operation Research
The Statistics and Operations Research minor is designed to increase the mathematics major's abilities in data analysis, mathematical modeling, algorithmic reasoning, and problem solving, as well as one's knowledge in the fields of probability and mathematical statistics.
Middle School Math Certificate of Undergraduate Study
The Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) Middle School Mathematics Certification (5-8) has been developed with the goal of developing educators of Middle School students (5-8), through gaining a solid Mathematics education. In addition to improving job accessibility, this CUGS will also improve performance in the workplace.
