We would like to keep in touch with all our graduates—hear about you, your family, job, promotions, professional honors, etc. Please go to, and fill out, our contact form us and let us know where you are and how you are doing. We can can then update our contact information database and be sure to keep you informed of what's going on in the department through our Physics & Astronomy Newsletter.
The Department of Physics and Astronomy is very proud of its graduates who have gone on to be employed in a variety of exciting professions or to graduate schools across the country. Below are lists of just a sample of the organizations that have hired, and schools that have accepted, our graduates.

If you think you had a rewarding experience, and would like to help a future student, you can do so by making a gift. On the I'd Like to Give page just clidk the Select Gift Designation(s) button and in the list that pops up you can scroll down to the College of Science and Mathematics section and select one or more of the following three funds: Karen Magee-Sauer Scholarship in Physics Fund, Physics & Astronomy Fund, and/or Ryan Archer Scholarship. Donations to these funds go entirely to help students.
Award Winners
The Department of Physics & Astronomy selects up to three graduating seniors for meritorious awards: The Medallion for Excellence in Physics, The Dean's Outstanding Senior Award offered by the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics, and the Paul Dike Medallion for Excellence in Physics Science which is shared with the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry for students planning a career in eduction.
