Research Interests:  

I am interested in evaluating the productive capabilities of aquaponics systems.  This includes studying the variables that influence fish and crop production in a recirculating system.  Analyzing the yields and limits of different style systems and comparing the efficiencies of different systems interests me as well.  I am also interested in studying different species of fish integrated into an aquaponic system, and evaluating the advantages and disadvantages that different species may offer to a system in the Mid-Atlantic states.  All of these interests revolve around a desire to develop improved sustainability and further advance regenerative food production.
