For high school students who are not able to take the AMC 10/12 A, or who wish to retake the AMC 10/12, or whose school does not host the AMC.
AMC 10/12 B Testing Day Information
Date: Wednesday, February 5th, 2020
Location: Rowan University, Robinson Hall, Room 227 (building #7 campus map: http://www.rowan.edu/home/sites/default/files/maps/print/campus_map_visitors_0.pdf)
SCHEDULE
Check-in: 4:15-4:45 p.m.
Exam: 5:00-6:15 p.m.
Refreshments and Q/A Session: 6:15-7pm (students will have the opportunity to learn more about studying mathematics at Rowan University and ask questions).
Transportation:
Students and parents will need to provide their own transportation to Rowan University (Glassboro campus).

AGE RULE:
The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below, and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade. Students in grade 10 or below and under 17.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 10. The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. Students in grade 12 or below and under 19.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 12.

There is no cost to students, but online registration is required.Deadline to register is Tuesday, February 4, 2020!
- A maximum of 20 students will be allowed to participate in the AMC 10 (first-come, first-serve).
- A maximum of 20 students will be allowed to participate in the AMC 12 (first-come, first-serve).
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE:
Parents are responsible for their children during this event and must remain on the premises during the exam. Each student is required to sign a waiver form at check-in prior to taking the exam.

CALCULATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED. It is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure that students will not use calculators or phones for communication purposes. For these reasons, the AMC disallows the use of all electronics on its examinations. No problems on the contest will require the use of a calculator.
You will have 75 minutes to take the exam.
