Biography

Education:

PhD (Psychology; Biopsychology & Behavioral Neuroscience Concentration), City University of New York Graduate Center

Research Interests:
Inclusive & Effective Pedagogy and Determinants of Success in College Students

I am interested in learning what factors play a role in student success in general, within the field of psychology, and in research/quantitative classes specifically. I am interested in using my research to address the gaps in student success that exist in higher education between traditionally underrepresented and non-underrepresented students. My research includes projects on effective teaching methods (e.g. active teaching v. lecture), attitudes and practices regarding inclusive teaching strategies, and factors related to student success.
