Beckman-Coulter Optima LE-80K Ultracentrafuge

While this unit is similar to the Sorvall Centrifuge listed above, it is capable of spinning with a much greater speed (up to 80,000 rpm) to spin down smaller solid particulates and/or cells faster and more effectively. The device uses a programmable air-cooled drive system, and has a thermoelectric temperature control system to operate from 15 to 40 �C.
