TA Model 2920 Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter

This instrument measures the differences in heat flow into a substance and a reference as a function of sample temperature while the two are subjected to a controlled temperature program. DSC is used to study and characterize polymers and pharmaceuticals, and provides information about some physical characteristics of the material, such as crystallinity or glass transition, as well as chemical characteristics, such as purity.
