Included in that growth is Big Data and it may come as no surprise that there is a strong job demand for professionals who know how to work with data. It is one of the fastest growing fields in the USA as well as in the world and has been for the past several years. Global companies do not just gather data, but they also need professionals to help analyze it to maximize sales/profits for their company. Along the way this can also help the consumer, since they get an advantage by seeing personalized and targeted content online (i.e. advertising) which often can alert them to sales on items they buy often.
