Biography

I am a math educator who has been professionally active since 1966.  I served 36 years in the Haddonfield (NJ) public school system as a secondary mathematics teacher, the high school math department chairman, the K-12 math supervisor, and the district-wide supervisor of curriculum and instruction. During those 36 years, regardless of the jobs I held, I had my own classes every year but three.  I was facilitator for the first New Jersey mathematics standards panel in 1992/3 and served as co-chair of the panels in 1995 and 2000.  Since retiring from Haddonfield in 2002, I have been an adjunct at Wilmington College and Rowan University and served as a ¾-time math ed instructor beginning in 2013. As of the Fall 2019 semester I have moved from ¾-time staff to adjunct.
