Teaching Narrative:
Dr. Hudson started teaching while working on her M.S. in 2008, then taught full-time at a community college for two years before going back to earn her Ph.D.  After graduating, she taught at Florida Atlantic University before starting at Rowan in 2021.   She is interested in making as many courses as affordable as possible: she wrote a draft of an OER Abstract Algebra book in 2019 (available from AMS Open Math Notes), and hopes to work on writing or adapting OER books for other classes that have fewer affordable options available.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and traveling.
