Office of Accessibility Services
The Office of Accessbility Services provides accommodations and assistance to students with various documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
Tutoring Services
Tutoring Services offers academic support to Rowan University students in a variety of subjects. Tutoring can help students improve their educational achievement and is available free of charge. In person, virtual, and drop in tutoring options are available.
Academic Support Programs/Success Coaching
Academic Support Programs is committed to helping students reach their highest academic and personal potential by providing guidance in a welcoming and inclusive environment. They offer supportive academic services intended to help students succeed including Tutoring, Success Coaching, and the Academic Improvement Program.
The Writing Center
The Rowan Writing Center’s mission is to create a university community of strong, confident writers and communicators. Each Writing Center appointment is a collaboration between the student and tutor. They offer an inclusive, accessible, and supportive environment where Rowan Writing Center tutors provide opportunities that enable student writers to discover and develop effective writing practices.
Academic Advising
Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between you and your academic advisor to develop educational goals that are consistent with your personal interests, values and abilities. Your academic advisor is available to meet with you on an individual basis to review your academic plans and explore careers.
Information Resources & Technology
The Division of Information Resources & Technology (IRT) is responsible for all technology services available on the Glassboro, Camden and Stratford campuses of Rowan University.
Military Services
The mission of the Military Services Office is to engage all military-affiliated students — including veterans, active duty, reservists, National Guard members, and dependents — in their transition from military life to the campus and greater community.
Study Abroad
At the Education Abroad Office, it is our goal to ensure that students have the opportunity to participate in a program that is academically challenging, professionally relevant and personally engaging. The Wellness Center
The mission of the Wellness Center is to provide students with high quality health care and education that enables students to be well physically, mentally, and emotionally. They strive to support students and the Rowan community on the journey to well-being.
The Center for Well-Being
In alignment with Rowan University’s mission, the Center for Well-Being is a comprehensive, inclusive, and welcoming campus resource center that supports and promotes the holistic development of all students, staff, and faculty, incorporating the six dimensions of Rowan Thrive, focused on physical, social, purpose, community, emotional, and financial well-being.
Counseling & Psychological Services
Counseling & Psychological Services at Rowan University provides quality counseling for a variety of concerns to promote the psychological well-being and personal growth of our student body. The staff provides confidential personal counseling and other psychological services free of charge to currently enrolled Rowan University students.
Crisis Center
Student Services Crisis Center has walk-in hours, after-hours phone service, information on sexual assault, a stress management and response team, and suicide resources/support.
Uwill
Uwill, a partnership with The Wellness Center, offers students free immediate access to teletherapy and wellness programming through its easy to use online platform. Visit Uwill and choose a therapist based on your preferences including availability, issue, gender, language, ethnicity. You can also choose a time that fits your schedule with day, night and weekend availability.
Resources for students who are parents
The Family-Friendly Campus Initiative offers resources and events for all Rowan University students who are raising children. The Family-Friendly Campus Initiative also launched the Rowan CCAMPIS Program, which offers free or low-cost tuition for eligible students' children at the Early Childhood Demonstration Center as well as social and academic services designed just for college student parents.
Alcohol & Other Drug Services
Are you concerned about your substance or alcohol use? Has someone expressed concern about your substance or alcohol use? Confidential consultations are available to all Rowan students.
Veteran & Active Duty Rowan Students
The Wellness Center assists in navigating resources to veterans and active duty students, both on and off-campus. Whether it is related to mental health, physical health, finances, academics, etc… they are able to help guide one's transition to student life.
Emergency Resources
Rowan CARES
Rowan CARES can assist you or a student who may benefit from comprehensive and tailored resources and services. A Care Referral allows anyone in the Rowan community to share a concern they have for a student. It is a mechanism to connect students to a support network and resources that can aid them in navigating challenges or unforeseen circumstances within the university context.
The SHOP
The SHOP is Rowan University's on-campus food pantry and resource center available to students in need. The SHOP offers a range of free and confidential support services that can connect students with appropriate campus and community resources.
Donated Meals Program
Gourmet Dining provides a number of donated meals each semester for students with a demonstrated financial need who are facing food insecurity on campus. Students can request to be considered for these meals through The SHOP or Dean of Students Office:
Student Emergency Assistance Fund
The Student Emergency Fund was established through the Rowan University Foundation in 2016 in an effort to support students facing unexpected hardships. The purpose of the fund is to help prevent an emergency from derailing a student's progress toward earning a degree from Rowan University.

Safety & Rights
Rowan Safe App
Rowan University’s Police Department has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty, and staff with added safety on Rowan University campuses. In addition to being a source of information relating to campus safety resources, the app also will send you important safety alerts. This type of messaging will supplement the RAVE alert systems platform.

Student Sexual Misconduct/Title IX Reporting Form
All members of the University community have the right to be free from any form of sexual violence, harassment or exploitation. If you have been sexually assaulted, experienced domestic or dating violence, stalking, sexual harassment or any form of sexual exploitation, you can find information here on how to report it.
