Research With Students

I came to Rowan because I was impressed by the fast growth the school has seen in recent years. I expected that there would be a lot of opportunities (and challenges) for me to grow here in both research and teaching.

What's the best part of doing research? Well, it could be hard to determine what is the best part, but there are several good parts of doing research:

1. Finding interesting and meaninful open research quesitons to work on
2. Obtaining new research results
3. Proividing research opportunities to students and learning about the growth and successful stories from my research students
4. Learning to accept failures and overcome frustration.

How would I like students to remember their time after they depart from Rowan? I would like them to remember it as the place where they are always encouraged and challenged in courses and research. I also hope that students who take my courses will remember projects where Math is used to solve practical problems.
