Teaching Narrative:
Jennifer Hoxworth has extensive experience working in higher education and loves teaching students and learning from them. Hoxworth believes it is important to create an engaging and fun learning environment, to provide valuable resources, and to present concepts in an understandable manner. Hoxworth regularly works to improve her teaching methods and materials. In addition, she is editor of Vectors, the newsletter of the Mathematics Department. In her free time, Hoxworth enjoys traveling with her family (has visited Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, England, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, and Wales), biking, creating art, spending time with her dog, and collecting LEGOs. Hoxworth is also an active volunteer firefighter.
