Student Research Day 2026
The College of Science & Mathematics (CSM) and School of Earth & Environment (SEE) invite you to explore the groundbreaking research taking place across our departments. Discover over 130 research posters showcasing innovative work from our nine departments: Biological & Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, GPS, Geology, Mathematics, Physics & Astronomy and Psychology. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from our students about the exciting research they are conducting! This event is open to all students, friends, family, faculty, and staff. No registration required to attend.
Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2026
Location: Chamberlain Student Center, Eynon Ballroom
Times: We will have two unique sessions. Join us for one or both!
- Session One: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
- Session Two: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

How to Register for the Poster Session
To present a poster at this event, ONE student from the research group must register the poster (on behalf of their group) to the CSM Student Research Database (link below). You will just need your poster title (no abstract needed for registration), name of your faculty PI and the names of all students in the research group associated with the poster. Please carefully review the submission instructions linked below before submitting.
The deadline to register is Sunday, March 22nd.

After you have registered the poster, the submission will go to your faculty PI for approval. Once approved, you will receive additional updates from our office regarding event logistics.
Please make note that posters for this event should be 36-inches wide and 48-inches tall to fit onto the boards. Presenters are responsible for printing their posters – your faculty PIs will be able to guide you through this.

Our 2025 CSM Student Research Day was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in the Chamberlain Student Center, Eynon Ballroom, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
There were over 130 student research posters presented at three sessions throughout the day:
- Session One: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Session Two: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
2024 CSM/SEE Student Research Day
Our 2024 CSM Student Research Day was held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in the Chamberlain Student Center, Eynon Ballroom, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
There were over 135 student research posters presented at three sessions throughout the day:
- Session One: 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
- Session Two: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
