American Chemical Society Student Chapter focuses on improving the lives of all students in STEM and related fields by providing adequate educational and career driven opportunities. We aim to drive students and the community of Rowan through the power of chemistry by securing the intellectual stimulation that arises from multiple professional associations, obtain experiences in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and develop an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges that arise in modern chemists. Chemistry is fun, and Rowan ACS accomplishes that, making it open to every and all majors!

Applied Behavior Analysis Club (ABA)
The Applied Behavior Analysis Club informs about the importance of self care, social positive skills building, respect, and effective evidence based practices while Utilizing ABA. Applied Behavior Analysis studies the variables or environment surrounding our behavior. ABA is used to service people diagnosed with autism, We also bring attention to other ways ABA can be utilized. Our events allow students to connect basic aspects of ABA to their real everyday lives, as well as connecting students to professionals and students existing in the field.
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
The Association for Computing Machinery Rowan Chapter, or just 'ACM' for short, is an offical chapter of the ACM - "the world's largest educational and scientific computing society".
Here at Rowan we serve as the general computer science based club. Our purpose is to provide our members, made up from students inside and outside the Computer Science Department, an opportunity to explore their interests in all subjects related to the study of computer science in an informal outside-the-classroom environment.
Each week we have either a guest speaker presentation or a group workshop/event! Speakers are often faculty from the Computer Science Department, student leaders in the club, or people working in industry.
In addition to our weekly events, we host a variety of specialized interest groups called committees. These committees often host entry level group projects and discussions to help interested students learn more about their committee subject.

Association for Computing Machinery - Women in Computer (ACM-W)
Association for Computing Machinery's Committee on Women (ACMW) is an organization supported by ACM. The Mission Statement of our chapter as stated on ACMW's home page, "ACMW supports, celebrates, and advocates internationally for the full engagement of women in all aspects of the computing field, providing a wide range of programs and services to ACM members and working in the larger community to advance the contributions of technical women." Our club promotes the increased recruitment and retention of women in computing throughout the pipeline including activities for girls in K-12, undergraduate and graduate students, and professionals!

Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM)
We are a student chapter of the national organization of AWM and are in the process of becoming an SGA chartered club! We are a community open to any STEM related major and all students regardless of gender identity or expression, race, color, ethnicity, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, affectional orientation, or disability. We host monthly meetings each semester and other events such as brunch socializers, library study rooms, pet therapy, and more! Our club promotes a greater understanding of the contributions made by women in the mathematical sciences and encourages women and anyone of a marginalized gender to pursue a career in the mathematical sciences.

Beekeeping Club
The Rowan Beekeeping Club gives students the opportunity to learn about the ancient practice of beekeeping, participate in visits to our hives on campus, and educate others about the importance of pollinators to agriculture and ecosystems all over the world.
Bioinformatics Club
Biology Club
This student club caters to the various directions of career advancement one can pursue with a degree or interest in Biological Sciences. The club engages in numerous educational, social, and service activities throughout the year. Among its initiatives, a biweekly seminar series featuring speakers from a multitude of universities and programs, as well as research of faculty and students from both Rowan and other prestigious local universities is a highlight for students in the program. The primary goal of Biology Club is to prepare students and provide them with information on a variety of postgraduate options, such as career choices, medical school, graduate school, or research. Members of the club also participate in both on and off campus activities!

Biomedical Art and Visualization (BMAV)
Our purpose is to enrich the lives of students interested in biomedical art and visualization by providing access to opportunities outside the Glassboro area as well as a forum for discussion about the subject. The Biomedical Art and Visualization Club (BMAV Club) is open to anyone interested in arts, science, and technology.
Biomedical Engineering Society
The goal of the Rowan chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society is to help develop young professionals who aim to use engineering and technology to advance human health and well-being. BME’s of all different experience levels and research areas come together to foster growth, community, and learning. Students are provided the opportunity to network, learn skills, and explore the BME field through open discussion, academia and industry speakers, volunteering opportunities, skills workshops, and national and regional conferences. We aim to give back to our Rowan community and the local Glassboro community, as well as to build a sense of community within the BME department.
Cybersecurity Club
Learn more about cybersecurity, programming and information technology. For events this semester we hope to better educate students about the field by bringing out more industry professionals and CS Alumni for Speaker/Workshop events to share their experiences as to give advice and possible opportunities for all our members to engage in!
Math Team
We are a group that loves math, but also loves to have fun! All are welcome to participate in Math Team. We have many active members who major in math, education, computer science, engineering, physics etc., so you are not required to be a math major to join or participate. We compete in state and national mathematics competitions (not required) as well as volunteer as tutors in the math department, host game nights, research events, and engage in on campus events for children who enjoy STEM! Math Team is a great way to meet new people, get involved in campus life, practice your skills, and get involved in the professional field. Come join us to see what we are all about!
Minority Association for Premedical Students (MAPS)
MAPS commits to the empowerment of its members to take proactive steps to address minority health issues through advocacy, community service and promoting academic excellence beyond health issues including but not limited to underrepresented regions. Rowan University MAPS Chapter will inspire and encourage others to recognize the need for minorities in the health care professions, as well as anyone who has an affinity to transform health care related issues in the minority community. Our chapter will take focus in addressing the issues concerning the deficit of minorities in health-related programs and how to be competitive applicants and/or candidates for health professional programs.

NeuroClub
The NeuroClub is an organization designated to create a network and support system which allows those interested in the Neuroscience field to gain knowledge, set themselves up for success, and communicate in a group of students with similar interests to learn and expand the field of Neuroscience. Members have the opportunity to hear from speakers, participate in community service events, and network with other students with similair interests in the Neuroscience field.
Physics & Astronomy Club
The Rowan Physics and Astronomy Club is a diverse community of students brought together by their passion for Physics and Astronomy. Our aim is to provide our members with academic and social support systems, along with opportunities to reciprocate that support within the club and in the Rowan area community. Many projects are done by our club such as launching model rockets, or building things that pique our interest. We also help provide professional opportunities to meet people in the Physics industry and attend conferences. Our open access club space in Room 153, Science Hall, is a non-stop environment of academic collaboration and social interaction. If you would like to join the club, need help with a physics homework problem, want to chat about the mysteries of the universe, or just want to hang out with some wonderful people, stop by anytime!

Pi Mu Epsilon (Honors Society - Mathematics)
Pi Mu Epsilon is dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and recognition of students who successfully pursue mathematical understanding.
Pre-Health Society
The Pre-Health Club is a student led organization established for students interested in pursuing professional careers in M.D./D.O. Members gain access to information on professional schools, programs, guest lectures, service events, exam preparation, tours, and more. Mentoring programs and workshops are available to assist all students during their application process. Any undergraduate student of Rowan University that aspires to pursue a profession in health care is encouraged to join!

Pre-Physician Associate Club
The club is meant to guide students that are interested in pursuing a career as a Physician Associate. We aim to prepare members to academically and professionally be the best applicants for PA graduate schools. We want to dedicate this club to becoming more involved in the Physician Associate community, by gaining awareness on current issues related to PAs, healthcare, and the PA education. We want to promote the act of volunteering within the medical community.
Pre-Vet Club
To provide aspiring veterinarians with the tools and information needed to apply to vet school, as well as teach students more about what it means to be a veterinarian or work in an animal care field. We hold weekly meetings that feature sessions with veterinary school admissions representatives, current veterinarians, veterinary students, animal husbandry specialists, and more.
Psi Chi (Honors Society - Psychology)
Psi Chi is an international honor society for undergraduate and graduate psychology students whose purpose is to “encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology”. The Rowan Chapter provides information and opportunities to enhance members' professional and personal lives via general meetings, workshops, and guest speakers. We also participate in fund-raisers and other activities to serve the local community.
Psychology Alliance
Psychology Alliance promotes the study of behavior, the brain and various aspects of human personality. We aim to provide fellowship for all psychology majors at Rowan, to be of service to the local community, and to offer professional development opportunities to all interested in psychology.

Psychology and Law
Public Health Club
The mission of this club is to bring public health awareness to the campus of Rowan through educational events, speakers, and community involvement. We aim to gain interest in the field of public health for students both professionally and personally. In doing so, we hope to increase the overall health of the campus as well as encourage students to see how they can apply various majors toward a greater good. To do so, we will frequently be pairing with other clubs to incorporate an alternative perspective and supplementary information on various fields. We also aim to bring public health to Rowan’s surrounding community and encourage students to help others through various service opportunities.

Chess is an educational tool aiding in the learning of planning, cause and effect relationships, and pattern recognition. Our purpose is to enjoy the game of chess while improving ourselves and the community through it.

Rowan ImmunoClub
Rowan ImmunoClub (RIC) is an interdisciplinary group of students who are interested in learning more about this growing field of scientific research, which focuses on how the immune system can be harnessed to improve health. The study of Immunology works together with other disciplines, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Infectious Disease, Vaccine Development, Allergy, Epigenetics and Modulation of Immunity, Microbiology, Cancer treatment, Neuro-Immunology, Biosecurity, and Bioinformatics in treating human disease and infection.
Society for Applied Spectroscopy (SAS)
Upsilon Pi Epsilon (Honors Society - Computer Science)
Association founded in 1967 at Texas A&M University for students and faculty who exhibit superior scholastic and professional achievement in the computing science curriculum. It remains the only national honor society for the computing sciences and is recognized as such by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Computer Society. In 1997 Upsilon Pi Epsilon was admitted as a member of the Association of College Honor Societies - parent organization for all academic honor societies in North America. Rowan's chapter was chartered in April 2003.
