Research Experience

As science and math students it is very important to gain research experience outside of the classroom. There are research opportunities year round!

Fall/Spring Semesters

We have paid and unpaid research positions all year. During the year our research faculty hire student researchers using FWS, IWS, and research grant money. Check out the research our faculty are doing and ask to be part of their lab. Search for paid positions on ProfJobs.

Students present their research every year in April at the STEM sypomsium. All are welcome to attend.

There are also many off-campus research opportunities available. We recommend checking out the Pathways to Science website to see all of the funded research experiences and other scholarship opportunities available to undergraduates.
