Artificial Intelligence

The fundamentals of AI, machine learning, and deep learning. Students will create intelligent systems to analyze complex data, learn from experience, and make predictions or decisions. 

Cybersecurity Defense

The fundamental concepts of computer system and network security. Students will identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop incident response plans. 

Data Science

The fundamentals of data science and data abstraction. Students will collect, clean, transform, and analyze data using statistical and machine learning techniques, as well as learn to visualize and communicate data effectively. 

Graphic, Vis & Gaming Tech

The fundamentals of computer graphics and 3D computer modeling. Students will create realistic and dynamic 3D models, and environments, as well as interactive games, simulations, and virtual reality experiences. 

Programming Language & Compilers

Networking & Systems

The fundamentals of digital communication and data exchange. Students will design, implement, and manage networks between devices, as well as configure and troubleshoot routers, firewalls, and access points.  

Information Technology

Software Engineering

The fundamentals of software systems. Students will apply software engineering principles, software design, testing, and maintenance to create software systems to meet client needs.

Cybersecurity

The fundamental concepts of computer system protection. Students will identify and mitigate security threats and protect systems from unauthorized access, theft, and damage.

The fundamental concepts of computer system and network security. Students will identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop incident response plans. 

DevOps

The fundamentals of development and operations. Students will design and implement software pipelines for integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring of software systems

Photonics

The Concentration in Photonics will prepare students to enter the high-tech workforce in optics research and development.  Optics and photonics play an increasingly important role in the computer, communication, and security industries. Optical methods are frequently employed in industry for research and quality control.  

Physics

Behavioral Neuroscience

The Concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience is intended to serve as an introduction to the field of behavioral neuroscience, which focuses on the interactions between the nervous system and behavior. This concentration is only available to Psychology (B.A.) or Psychological Science (B.S.) majors. 

Child Behavioral Services

The Concentration in Child Behavior Services emphasizes learning theory, the application of behavioral principles, knowledge of the types of problems and issues that for which children may need services, learning how to interview and interact with children and their families, and supervised experience working with children and their families in the community.
