Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Rowan University
The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.
Coursework Requirements for Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst® (BCaBA®) eligibility:
- Concentration in Behavioral Services for Children & Their Families (Undergraduate Coursework)
- Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in ABA (Undergraduate Coursework; offered through Rowan Global)
Coursework Requirements for Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) eligibility:
- Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis (Graduate Coursework)
- 4+1 Accelerated Dual Degree Program: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Psychological Science & Master of Arts in ABA (Undergraduate & Graduate Coursework; current Rowan undergraduate students only)
- Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Applied Behavior Analysis (Graduate coursework for individuals with a master's degree in education, psychology or related field)
