Biography

Education:
M.S., Neuroscience: Systems, Behavior, and Plasticity, Temple University
B.S., Psychology: Biological and Evolutionary Science, Penn State University

Teaching Narrative:
My teaching expertise consists of neuroanatomy and physiology, systems neuroscience, neuroplasticity & learning, perception, psychology of language, and positive psychology. My teaching experience includes focusing on first-generation college students, first-generation immigrant students, transfer students, and students with limited academic preparation. My teaching specialization flourished from teaching learning communities in the Rowan University 3+1 program and the Rowan University Educational Opportunity Fund program and Pre-College Institute.
