Road to Research Series
The College of Mathematics & Science and the School of Health Professions is excited to present the Road to Research webinar series. A diverse group of faculty and graduate student researchers will share their research topics, personal academic experiences and advice for students. We encourage students to participate and learn more about undergraduate research opportunities and how to get involved.
All students and faculty are welcome to attend. Check back regularly as we add new dates to the series.

Jonathan Mathias Lassiter, Ph.D. is a polymath who utilizes psychology, writing, and dance to help others heal and thrive. His roles include licensed clinical psychologist, professor, author, public speaker, and choreographer. As a public intellectual, Dr. Lassiter has been featured on television, radio, podcasts, and print such as PBS and Sirius XM.
Currently, Dr. Lassiter is Assistant Professor of Psychology at Rowan University, Founder and Chief Psychology Officer at Lassiter Health Initiatives, co-host of Fly on the Wall on YouTube, and Artistic Associate at The Black Acting Methods Studio.

Gregory will be sharing his path to pursuing a doctoral degree in Materials Science & Engineering. He will discuss some of his current research, his challenges, his accomplishments, and his advice for students hoping to follow a similar route.
