Master's Degree in Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing fields in computing in the United States. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts cybersecurity jobs will grow 31% through 2029, over seven times faster than the national average job growth of 4%. This new program offered by the Computer Science department leverages already existing programs that our university offers, but allows students to achieve the same education quality at a reduced rate in a shorter amount of time.

This new program is a mix of computer science, cybersecurity, and business designed to help students meet the very high and rising demand for cybersecurity professionals. Through this program, students will be equipped with the strong background and skills necessary to counter the ever-increasing cyberattacks and data privacy exploits and to protect the exponentially expanding information storage platforms.
