Cybersecurity in Information Technology - U237
Available to all students, and can be completed as part of the BA in Computer Systems Technology degree. This program covers the IT basics of computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and networking. Students will gain experience with troubleshooting, operational procedures, vulnerability assessment, threat identification, security implementation, and incident response.
Each of these courses are designed to prepare students to sit for the following certifications:
- CYBR 01201 - Applied Cybersecurity - Certificate: CompTIA Security+
- CST 01110 - Information Technology Foundations - Certificate: CompTIA IT Fundamentals
- CYBR 03211 - Computer Hardware and Operations - Certificate: CompTIA A+
- CYBR 01410 - Cyber Defense - Certificate: CYSA: CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+
