Offered by the College of Science & Mathematics, the Minor in Cybersecurity provides students with a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of cybersecurity while developing the technical skills and knowledge needed to identify, assess, and respond to constantly evolving cyber threats. Students gain experience in cryptography and encryption techniques used to protect information and communications, ethical hacking and vulnerability identification to strengthen system security, and risk management strategies for assessing and mitigating cybersecurity threats. The program prepares students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue careers as skilled cybersecurity professionals.
