Biography
Bill Dougherty is a seasoned computer science professor with over 30 years of experience in both academia and industry. He currently teaches full-time at Atlantic Cape Community College and part-time at Rowan University. He holds an M.Ed. in Computer Science Education and a B.S. in Information Systems. Professor Dougherty has taught a variety of courses specializing in software applications, cybersecurity and Object-Oriented Programming. He is passionate about fostering innovation in his students and encouraging them to apply concepts to real-world problems. In addition to his professor role, he has also served as Department Chairperson for seven years at ACCC. Known for his approachable teaching style, Professor Dougherty continues to inspire the next generation of computer professionals.College of Science & Mathematics
