Autumn Chadwick,Dr. Min Wang - Kennesaw UniversityAn overview of the ongoing work for the Event Detection in Time Series NSF Challenge. Topics will focus mostly on the 2E portion of the challenge which revolves around multi-station analysis of time series data sets using Wavelet analysis, transport equations, and neural networks. Project is still ongoing and is currently using minimization algorithms to solve for transport equation coefficients which will further be used to train a neural network for the detection of incidents.
