Additionally, there were two senior awards given at the induction: Dean’s Outstanding Senior Award, given to Sushanth Ambati and Ava Esposito, and Head’s Outstanding Senior Award, given to Michael Greenbaum and Bobby Morgan. These awards are given to senior students who have made great contributions to the department, university, or community. Finally, one graduate award, the Outstanding Graduate Award, was granted to Petro Skrypnyk. Similar to the senior award, this award is given to a graduate student who has made incredible contributions to our department, university, or community. Congratulations to all of the awardees and their hard work!
Along with the Distinguished Graduating Student awards, the department also awarded the Distinguished Alumni Awards, given to Dan Jones and Nick Perkins. Both working for Microsoft in New York City, these two alumni are passionate in creating networking and educational opportunities for Rowan’s CS students. Jones and Perkins organized a trip to Microsoft’s headquarters in New York City and currently organizes the department’s Tech Connect Days each fall semester.
Congratulations to all of the students, alumni, and faculty that were inducted and awarded at the UPE Ceremony!
